First case (December 18, 2003)

Georgian Telemedicine Union (GTU)

Patient - 43 years-old male

Diagnosis - Chronic anal canal narrowing (consistent with malignancy)

Operation - Ablation (excision) of hinder anal canal, operational biopsy (12.09.2003)

Before the surgical intervention the anus did not let in even the tip of finger; consequently the biopsy could not be performed before the mentioned surgical intervention.

Diagnosis:

1) Proliferative granulomatous tuberculosis;
2) Adenocarcinoma of low differentiation.

Note: In this case the coupling of tuberculosis and blastic processes was revealed. This is very rare incident in anal region and the first case in Georgian biopsial, operational and sectional material.
