Patient: 56 years old female

Clinical diagnosis: Cancer of right breast.

Stage: pT1pN0M

TNM Stage: I

Clinical group: III

The dense node was revealed in the upper outside quadrant of right breast. It was not evidently surrounded from the contiguous tissues. Regional (armpit and clavicular) lymph nodes are intact. Metastases in other organs are not revealed.

Surgical operation: Sectorally radical resection of upper outside quadrant of right breast.

Description of histologic material:

Lymph nodes with moderate reactive hyperplasia. Metastases in lymph nodes are not revealed.

Colloid carcinoma (lobular, infiltrative carcinoma with mucusation).

Immunohistochemical investigation:

  • Estrogen receptor – 56 Q (+) weakly positive

  • Progesterone receptor – negative

  • Ki-67 – 40% positive cells

  • p53 - negative
